In many cases, yes. Our reports are custom-built around your data and workflows, rather than forcing your business into a generic reporting template. That said, we’ll be honest if a third-party tool is a better fit for a specific use case.

Once the tools are installed, data access is always read-only and handled through secure methods such as remote desktop, approved connectors, or controlled exports. We do not make changes to your accounting data. Your financial information is treated as confidential and is never shared or reused.

The two systems have completely different database structures. This is especially true of transactions using Classes and Custom Fields. They each use different connection methods. We usually use the same tool to present the software, regardless of the data source. Desktop Enterprise has many more fields and functionality available, in particular for job costing and manufacturing/inventory management, so the reports themselves would be different.
