How To Fix Missing Parameter List of Values
Ever run a report with a parameter giving you a list of values to choose from? There is a glitchy little limitation that will prevent a Crystal Reports Viewer from showing all the values of a very long list. But it’s easily resolved! We recommend that you have your IT provider do this. These instructions apply to 64-Bit PCs only. If you have a 32-Bit machine, please submit a support ticket here.
Adjusting the Registry for LOV – Watch Video
The ‘DatabaseOptions’ key is located at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SAP Business Objects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Crystal Reports\DatabaseOptions\
- Add a new key called LOV under DatabaseOptions.
- Add Stringkey MaxRowsetRecords under LOV
- Set value to maximum number of records to read at 10000
